Following the morning event, Altman and Greg Brockman participated in a conversation hosted by SoftBank Ventures at 2 p.m. in the same Bldg. 63 location. The event was co-hosted by SoftBank Ventures and OpenAI. The four panelists were Junpyo Lee, CEO of SoftBank Ventures; Sam Altman, Kyung-Hyun Choi, professor at New York University; and Greg Brockman, co-founder of OpenAI.
SoftBank Ventures CEO Lee Jun-pyo has a strong global network and has known Altman for many years. Prof. Kyung-Hyun Lee, a world-renowned scholar in the field of language AI, was a classmate of Lee's at KAIST.
The moderated questions were much more natural than in the morning. Sam Altman seemed to have upgraded from ChatGPT3.5 to 4.0.

Why is Sam Altman touring 17 countries around the world, including South Korea? What does he want? On Twitter, he said the following: "To meet with OpenAI users, developers, and policymakers to talk about (regulation, etc.)".

Last week, Altman held a private meeting with 20 developers in London, where he made some important statements. After the event, Raza Habib, CEO of AI company Humanloop, wrote a blog post summarizing what Altman said.

"Sam was remarkably open," he said. How open will Sam be in Korea, or how open will the questioners allow him to be?
